Week 11 - House 2 - Kate Moss (Final Design)
House 2 - Kate Moss
Design Concept:
The form was inspired by a balloon unearthed during initial research stage. It aim to shows the lifestyle and characters of Kate Moss which has strong personality (Both bright and dark side), always on the top (Headline news of the queen model) and never gonna be stop.

The form was inspired by a balloon unearthed during initial research stage. It aim to shows the lifestyle and characters of Kate Moss which has strong personality (Both bright and dark side), always on the top (Headline news of the queen model) and never gonna be stop.
The house is an upside-down design, with an
earth-sheltered floor plan which is exposed to show the exterior and interior space
of the house. Imagine living in a cylindrical space that traced the path of the
sun, giving maximum access to daylight and using the extra energy form nature
which is aim to make the house like a shiny diamond in the sky.
Main access is made via the lower floor
which provides spaces for lounge, kitchen, dining, and utility, together with a
self contained flat with lounge, bedroom and bathroom on upper floor. Integral
to the top floors design are a huge round catwalk and exhibition space for
fashion show and private party. The floor is accessed by several vertical stairway
set among the spirals within the design, is naturally illuminated by light
tubes, giving access and views from bottom to top.
